Image
Hi all, this blog is only dedicated to what kind of health bar would I like to have in my game for my character. there are a lot of different design ideas around to use but for my game, I want something that looks sleek, slim and doesn't gets in the way of game-play. After some research and playing a few games, i found out my top 5 kind of health bars. Out of all the five, my personal favorite is no. 5. Let me know if you find these good and help make a choice: I will be choosing one of the above for my game as I just like health bars that are simple and easy to read. Thanks for stopping by. keep Smiling :)

Game Design: Title, Story and Character

Hi all, this blog is all about finalizing the story aspects of my game before I move into production stage where I will start designing assets, characters and game world. But, before i do that, I need to be really concise with my approach towards it. I would start with the title and then delve into the story line and conclude it with the backstory and a bio about my character. Section I: TITLE Game Title: T.R.A.P.; Take Rewards After Puzzles Log Line: Get rich or die trying in this adventurous puzzle filled game. Intended Game Systems: Windows PC Target Audience: Age 13+ Controls: Keyboard and Mouse Section II: STORY About the Ruins: On top of the Acropolis lies the ruins of  the " The Erechtheum" a temple that was built to house the wooden statue of the Goddess Athena but only those who have read the ancient scriptures know that beneath the ruins lies a Labyrinth which served the purpose of hiding jewels and other precious artifacts from the Great War in ancient times. Game Design: Game Plan: Flowchart

Image
Hi all, this blog is about the flowchart that I created as part of the planning stage for the game that I am designing. Creating this flowchart was immensely helpful in laying down how my game was to be played from start to the end and when I say start I mean the really start from the game menu, so without further ado this is my whole flowchart and I will be breaking it down in parts for better understanding: Here is the breakdown: Section I: Game Menu, Tutorial & Level I Section II: Game Level II, Introducing Secret Keys and Trap Doors Section III: More Secret Doors, Puzzles, Treasures and You will die here for sure :) Section IV: It's not over Yet, Last Level I hope my breakdown of this flowchart helps you in a better understanding of what the game will be and might put a smile on your face. That's it for now. Keep Smiling :)

Title: T.R.A.P.: Take Rewards After Puzzles Log-line: Get Rich or Die Trying About the Character & Story: A young white male named " No Neck Nick " who has made his life ambitions to get rich by finding treasures in ruins all around the world. His current conquest has him travel all the way to Greece to find the lost treasure of Athena which is said to be in the ruins under " The Erechtheum " a temple which housed the ancient wooden cult statue of Athena. According to ancient Greek legends, the temple was full of lost ornaments and jewels which is said to be protected by puzzles which unlock hidden chambers. Many tried but failed and lost their liv
