Game Design: Title, Story and Character

Hi all, this blog is all about finalizing the story aspects of my game before I move into production stage where I will start designing assets, characters and game world. But, before i do that, I need to be really concise with my approach towards it.
I would start with the title and then delve into the story line and conclude it with the backstory and a bio about my character.

Section I: TITLE
  • Game Title: T.R.A.P.; Take Rewards After Puzzles
  • Log Line: Get rich or die trying in this adventurous puzzle filled game.
  • Intended Game Systems: Windows PC
  • Target Audience: Age 13+
  • Controls: Keyboard and Mouse
Section II: STORY
About the Ruins:
On top of the Acropolis lies the ruins of  the "The Erechtheum" a temple that was built to house the wooden statue of the Goddess Athena but only those who have read the ancient scriptures know that beneath the ruins lies a Labyrinth which served the purpose of hiding jewels and other precious artifacts from the Great War in ancient times. According to the scriptures, the treasures in the Labyrinth are far more valuable than anything else during that time. It is also said that a passage of secret doors and puzzles lead to  treasure room which has the biggest diamonds that the world has not even heard of. The scriptures also mentions that the Labyrinth is full of deadly traps which cannot be passed with just pure strength but one needs a stable mind to cross all the obstacles to reach the treasure.

Section III: CHARACTER BIO

  • Name: Nick Roman
  • Nickname: Ninja Nick
  • Age: 28
  • Born: Boston, U.S.A.
  • Skills: High IQ, Agile and Strong
  • Passion: Finding Lost Treasures
  • Hobbies: Parkour and Puzzle Solving
About Nick: Born in Boston, U.S.A. , since he was a child, his grandmother always used to tell him bed time stories about treasure hunters and how they would travel all around the world to find these lost treasures and become rich for life. Nick grew up listening to these stories and one day decided that he would start hunting treasures on his own just like the stories he had heard. He was always interested in Greek history. So, he decided to start his adventures from Greece.

Back Story: Nick is in Greece, visiting the archives to find anything about a lost treasure. Here Nick founds out the old scriptures which upon deciphering leads him to the top of Acropolis in from of the Erechtheum. As Nick is exploring the ruins to look for the entrance of the Labyrinth, suddenly his foot slips and Nick falls underground through a hole in the floor and falls unconscious.
Upon waking up, Nick finds out that by accident or fate he is standing in front of the entrance to the Labyrinth.

Game Story: You are Ninja Nick, standing in front of the entrance of the Labyrinth. Your mission is to survive the Labyrinth unharmed and loot all the treasure to keep for yourself and be happy rich for the rest of your life. Good Luck!
